Ryan is the Outreach Manager for Oceana in Belize. He has been engaging communities and building support for our work since 2016, initially as the Corozal Field Representative. He now ensures we continue to engage communities and build support across the north, central, and southern regions of Belize.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Belize and has over ten years of experience in community outreach and engagement.

Originally from San Joaquin Village in Corozal, Ryan enjoys taking in the sea breeze and just seeing the waves flow in Corozal Bay Wildlife Sanctuary (CBWS).

Fun Fact: He has rescued three sea turtles in the Corozal Bay Wildlife Sanctuary and has inadvertently played tag with manatees in the CBWS.
