Kleon is Oceana’s Senior Field Representative for the Central Belize District, where he works extensively within communities to educate citizens on the importance of protecting Belize’s marine environment.

He holds an associate degree from St. John’s Junior College, where he was awarded Student of the Year in the Humanities Department, and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management at St. John’s College University.

Born and raised in Belize, Kleon is a city boy with a deep love for the environment. His passions span both land and sea, from climbing one of Belize’s highest peaks to snorkelling the beautiful, vibrant waters of the Belize Barrier Reef.

Fun Fact: He drove a garbage truck for the first time, 6 gears. His neighbour bet him that he wouldn’t be able to and he did.
